Ang damit, bow.

I have never been into fashion... up until now.

Seriously, I never invested in buying clothes or accessories or shoes. I just relied on my sister's hand-me-downs. My usual look would be a polo shirt or a t-shirt, loose maong pants and rubber shoes. Sometimes, I dig slippers or flip flops. Sometimes, if necessary, i do wear a blouse or a dress. In short, I was never into girly outfits.

(L-R) Shirt and jeans. Blouse and Jeans. Polo shirt and shorts.
Yes, basically that's my outfit style since i can remember wearing clothes. I was in for comfort rather than style. Another reason why I didn't dress up was because I used to believe that, err, "fat" people were never really worthy of dressing up. LOL. Closed-minded much? XD

So why the sudden change? Actually, I'm asking myself the same question. Maybe it comes with age? Hahaha, or maybe it also involves the influence. Major influence came from my officemates. They would scold me for wearing those outfits above. Haha, I was pressured! Just kidding.

One major change regarding my look is my hair. You see, sometimes the "Bitch From Hell" (BFH) boss has a point. When I started working, my hair looked like this:
Sponghado, magulo at kulot.
So, everyday since I started working, BFH boss would never miss "greeting" my hair saying "Oy Kookai! Ang pangit ng buhok mo!" I got fed up one day. So I went to the parlor and got myself a hair rebond. So pretty much, my hair looked like this:
So yeah. haha i think that one is a good change. eversince that time, I made it a point to have my hair rebonded at least once a year or when necessary. So anyway, what has my hair got to do with clothes??
Moving on...

Clothes.

One day, I decided I would dress up... for a change. You know, trip trip lang? I don't know which outfit that was, I hadn't had a chance to take a photo. So I went to the office. And guess what? Almost everyone complimented me. How great I looked. And that made me feel good about myself. I guess that was the point I decided to invest in clothes. Late last year, I made a pact to myself that I would be buying at least one piece of clothing per pay day. Haha, I haven't been really religious about that. But, if I have extra money, I make it a point to visit the mall and buy clothes. (I used to spend all my extra money on food OR books.)

Transformation coming up? hahaha. :)) So, here are some of my recent looks.

And honestly, I kind of look good naman. Hahaha. (ang kumontra, mababatukan!)

What really inspired this blog post is this photo:

Haha, posted it on facebook just for the sake of it and I did not expect that this "look" shall have positive feedback. Hihihi. :"> It flatters me.

I guess I can say, i'm turning into a bit of a fashionista. Or not. HAHA.
