Lo and behold!
Fujifilm Finepix XP50. See complete camera specifications here. |
I'm soooo happy I could die (not). Exaggeration required for emphasis. :)) Presenting Fujifilm Finepix XP50. My first ever UNDERWATER CAMERA!!! Haha, sorry, I really just can't suppress the happiness I feel.
Insert silly face here. |
I quickly sent a message and posted a Facebook status to my mom and sister wishing that they'd buy this camera as my super advanced birthday present. [In case you'd like to know, my birthday is on the 1st of May. Presents from you are also very welcome] And YEAP, sister agreed to pay half of the cost. I've got the other half to worry about. Haha, without even letting my mom know she'd be the one who's going to pay for the other half, I already bought the camera. Hahaha. It was still days after when I told mom about this and I didn't have worries 'cuz I knew she'd agree. Hoho. And indeed she did. ;)
Yesterday, the package came it the office. The front desk personnel brought it to my room and I immediately felt my hands shaking. Haha, ecstatic much? :))
My favorite part of a gadget purchase is the unboxing part. I took everything out of their plastic enclosures. I quickly put in the battery and the free 4G Sandisk memory card to their corresponding slots. Turned on the camera (which is, btw, my equivalent for Gollum's ring) and shot(??) away.
Here are some of the photos I took yesterday:
The classic self-shot with the new camera. |
The foot shot. |
The nails shot. Testing for quality photos to be uploaded to my nail-art blog. |
Motion panorama 360 shot of my somewhat messy room. |
I still have not tested the camera for underwater shots, though. I don't think I'm still ready for that. HAHA. That's why I'm dying to book a trip somewhere so that I could test it out. HAHA, this camera comes with a lot of expense, eh?
I might post a video shot using the camera. It says it takes video footage in full HD. I am still contemplating about that part. I don't think I'm ready for television offers yet. JOKE!! We'll see, we'll see.
Now, I'll have to put tripod, camera pouch, and camera strap to my "to buy list". Hahaha.
Now, here comes the hardest part. What shall I name it?
Got suggestions? Feel free to comment below. :)
