Chef Diego's Lord of the Wings

Le bestfriend pact:

If we're going to eat out, let's try somewhere we've never eaten before.

Then so be it.

Si Fyodo buyoy. "Lord of the Wings" daw o. *facepalm*

Chef Diego's Lord of the Wings is the first resto we've tried after the so-called pact. Hahaha.

As the name implies, this restaurant's specialty is...*tadaaaa* CHICKEN WINGS! They specialize in "crisp fried chicken wings with 6 awesome flavors to choose from - SOY KOREAN , FIERY SOY KOREAN, HONEY BBQ, SMOKEY BBQ, SPICY BUFFALO, HONEY FRENCH, CHIPOTLE LIME and GARLIC PARMESAN" (description grabbed from their Facebook page).

They do have other items like pasta & mozzarella balls (that's the only thing I could remember because that's what we ordered haha). Here's their menu for more details (photos also grabbed from their page) :

Anywhooo. When we chose to eat here, there were no customers inside so I told Camae: "Hmm, walang tao. Baka hindi masarap diyan." Nevertheless, we still ate there.

Rather small. The place can hold (a rough estimate) 25 pax tops.

I think the place wants to show off this cool retro vibe. The walls, as well as the table tops are filled with different 80's(?) music icons' pictures.
Cute little ceramic pot. :)

Fancy (but heavy!) silverware.
So, onto our food: We ordered Angel's Carbonara (PhP155), Fried Mozzarella Balls (PhP135), and Original Wings in Garlic Parmesan 6 pcs (PhP175).

Angel's Carbonara
 Fried Mozzarella Balls
Original Wings in Garlic Parmesan
The Verdict?

DELICIOSO! Every bit of food we ordered was delicious to the bone. LOL. This resto made me debunk my "walang tao kaya hindi masarap" theory. HAHA.

The carbonara may look like it has a small serving but I tell you, it is heavy in the tummy! It has this very very creamy flavor that just has this balance between sweet and salty. Hindi siya "nakakaumay".  The wings are indeed crispy AND tasty! Every bite just oozes with the garlicky flavor. I would've enjoyed the wings more though if it was in Spicy Buffalo Wings flavor. But yeah, someone is not fond of spicy food kase. And the Mozzarella balls? Who does not love fried cheese? And balls! Aberr?! :))

I would recommend you to visit this place if ever you are in the area. :) Chef Diego's Lord of the Wings is located at #36 Maginhawa Street, U.P. Village, Quezon City.

P.S.

Who is Chef Diego? Is he, like, supposed to be famous?
